After nearly two decades of practicing law, our founder, Hunter Marckwald, recognized the need for a transformative change. Fueled by his passion for woodworking, he embarked on a mission to restore and enhance the beauty of outdoor teak furniture, doors, decks, docks, and various wooden surfaces. His vision was to assemble a team of highly skilled professionals dedicated to serving homeowners, private clubs, resorts, condominium and apartment complexes, government agencies, and yacht owners.
Over time, our customer base, particularly within the private club sector, expressed a growing interest in custom-built items and the replacement of individual pieces within existing sets. We have listened to these requests and are now dedicated to addressing their unique needs. Our primary focus is on crafting bespoke wood products tailored specifically for the golf and country club industry. From bag stands to cooler boxes, and from plaques to trophies, we are equipped to create a wide array of products to satisfy your club’s distinguished preferences and requirements.
Hunter’s journey in woodworking began in 1992 at Camp Pasquaney in New Hampshire, where he first encountered the craft. That summer, he skillfully crafted a baseball bat on a lathe from a raw block of ash wood, an experience that left a profound impression and instilled a sense of accomplishment. In 2017, during a pivotal career transition, he reignited his passion by enrolling in woodworking classes, which motivated him to acquire his own tools and establish a workshop in his garage. Over the years, he has produced a diverse array of pieces, ranging from bowls and boxes to various types of furniture, with a particular focus on custom electric guitars. Today, Hunter has successfully transformed his passion for woodworking into a flourishing business, creating wood products tailored specifically for the golf and country club industry. This endeavor exemplifies the remarkable journey of turning a passion into a profession.
